Howdy. The Great One is swamped. Still. Linkage this week is gonna be faster than sex with a two pump chump.
Women are unhappy because they deny reality and they deny their own nature. If women had the agency, intelligence, strength, independence and fish bicycles they clam to have they could change this.
She is attempting to be facile here but all she does is reveal the grim and awful reality; for every woman getting older, a schoolgirl is approaching 18. For feminists and women in general this is awful news that must be pushed back into the far reaches of their brains where hopefully it can safely be ignored. Women hate to lose their beauty because ostensibly their beauty is all that they have. Their attempts to abdicate their beauty with careers, (which just mean plain old jobs), has been disastrously ineffective for them.
. . . . .
And here we have the confirmation. Women cannot hold onto their beauty for its own selfish sake. But they can prolong it when they use their beauty in a positive and enriching manner. This is achieved by having lots of children. Her beauty is ensured and lives on in her children, who will then do the same with their children for her. Imagine these children’s grandmothers and how happy and blessed those two older women must feel. This is the real and natural role of women.

I suffered three, maybe four seasons of GOT before I could take it no more. It started strong but fell apart. Much like the Battlestar Galactica reboot.
And that is the enormous problem with Game of Thrones as far as I can tell – there is no coherent story arc. The reason that George Martin can never finish the books is because he never planned out a beginning, a middle, and an end. You can’t wrap up something if there is no structure in place that underpins the narrative. No doubt when the HBO producers set out eight years ago to put this onto the screens they figured that eight years would be enough time for Martin to come up with something to end it. Not so, old bean, but frankly they should have known better. Like most epic fantasy there is no story arc. Tolkien wrote the high fantasy epic to end all epics but what his far too numerous imitators failed to understand is that The Lord of the Rings is classic storytelling because it carefully follows basic rules which were set in place by chaps such as Chaucer and Shakespeare and the guy who wrote Beowulf, perhaps you’ve heard of them.
Martin set out to write something but he obviously never planned things out. Instead he just went along at his own pace hoping that he’d stumble onto a worthy finish. So the HBO writers had to do it for him and that meant carnage on a massive scale and just kill everyone in sight.

And that’s why you should be watching Babylon 5.
Speaking of things you should be doing…
For the left this sort of picture is a horrible and terrible thing on many different levels. Their usual first attack route will be to scream that the world is overpopulated and such a woman is horribly irresponsible. The deception of this argument however, is instantly revealed when you change the skin color of the family to anything other than white. Libtards will then gush forth with exclamations of what a beautiful family it is and how proud the mother must be.
This is because demographics is destiny and the left are completely invested in the destruction of their own race and culture. In other words, the left is a suicide cult on a scale never before seen in human history.

Look like Brett Stevens suffered through Alien Covenant. My regular listeners know how I feel about this movie.
Y! M! C! A!
One wonders if Ridley Scott made those great films by accident, or has simply become senile in his old age, sort of like George Lucas. He seems to no longer recall what made those films great stories, and that great stories with great characters drive every genre, including science fiction. Too many confuse great science fiction with great CGI and cool space ships, and while this has the latter, it does nothing for this lead pancake of a script.
Maybe the actors are good, but who can tell? Their characters are one-dimensional stereotypes grafted onto generic Millennials, good at following procedure and inventing justifications, but unable to think their way out of a wet paper bag. Maybe that is the meta-point the movie makes: the real alien is within us, and it has made us clueless, because people who spend too much time deferring to society, crowd opinion, and employee handbooks become lobotomized moral dwarfs with no knowledge of the world beyond their little human bubble.
And speaking of Brett, he mentioned one of my linkage posts. I still haven’t had time to read and digest the post in which he references me but I’ve got warm fuzzys just from being pinged.
Our anarcho-capitalist is correct however in observing that the modern state has brought us to the same point as Communism did. Somehow, our capitalist/socialist hybrid has become about the same type of administrative-managerial state as Communism produced.

Too damn bad my warm fuzzys can’t save Western Civilization.
