If you want unity in the country, don’t think in terms of facts and policies and honest debate on the topics. That stuff never got anyone high. What you need is new sources of dopamine so people are less attracted to outrage.

If my hypothesis is correct, I predict that you will see less passion in the protests over the summer because the dopamine addicts will be enjoying the warm weather pleasures of sunlight, greater activity, tanned bodies, and probably more sex. Those pleasures will partially replace their winter outrage.

If my dopamine-replacement idea has merit, the people who exercise several times a week would have less political outrage than those who do not.

The fitness addicts are getting their dopamine high from another source. They don’t need outrage.

Do you remember all of those muscular anti-Trump protesters who came straight from the gym?

Neither do I.

But that could be confirmation bias on my part.

When Tell-a-Vision comedian FakeNews anchor Stephen Colbert delivered his “PizzaGate is an Alt-Right Fever Dream” monologue, he almost perfectly demonstrated the insidious, hidden-in-plain site mind control programming used by the mass media to manufacture consensus and control the narrative for we the sheeple.

He starts off with a cued-up studio audience applying the perfect consensus signalling reinforcement with timely laughter and applause when he delivers the following: “I really hope you don’t get your News from me, because ‘NEWSFLASH’ this isn’t news.” Of course not. Colbert and his ilk are the regularly scheduled programming on what exactly we the sheeple are supposed to think about “THE NEWS.” His schtick is to groom tell-a-vision viewers to accept the manufactured consensus as broadcast by the Lugenpresse.

Sure it’s broadcast for our consumption under the guise of “entertainment,” but the format of regularly scheduled programming with cued-up laugh track bolstered consensus is one of the most influential and powerful tools of memetic mind control magic our mass media employs to keep we the sheeple plugged in and continuously ingesting the blue pill.

It’s also probably why we now live in a society in which the educational paradigm for pedagogy in both public and private educational institutions is so focused on making learning “fun.”

No longer is phonetic reading taught by rote memorization of alphabetical sounds. Even though it is the time tested and proven methodology for empowering children to learn and perpetually expand their vocabulary through the practiced skill of deciphering new and unfamiliar words by seeing them used in proper context.

No, that’s too boring.

But the days of small businesses and individual entrepreneurship serving as the primary engine of the nations economic activities are no longer relevant to the current state of USA Inc. Here in “The Land of the Free,” in 2017, while we the sheeple operate on the basic premise of the Profit Motive as the engine of productivity, wealth and health of our communities, the large Corporations, Non-Profits, Tax-Haven Foundations, Government departments and branches and PAC loobyist groups that make up the concentric rings of our cartel-controlled markets at the local, national and international levels, care not one whit for “making a profit.”

Profit$ are chump change.

The people who control our Brave New World Order are the shareholders of the multi-national corporations that control almost everything bought and sold in the world today. These are they that call all the shots. And one of the primary corporations that they control is the Central Usury Cartel that controls the central banking systems in most of the world.

In other words, all the fabulously wealthy elites that own the shares in all the corporations (only 147 entities control nearly 40 percent of all of monetary value of transnational corporations in the world,) could give a shit about making “Profits.” Profits is an idea for the proles to consume themselves with so that we don’t notice the ever increasing and burdensome controls being implemented in a gradual but escalating pace.

They have usurped and deceived we the sheeple into accepting the take over of our economies, governments and institutions through their fiat usury schemes aka “money creation” power. In other words, do you really think T.H.E.Y. give a shit about profit, when these are they who have the power to create as much “money” as they need at any time? Profit$ are for pikers. The real prize is control…total population control. With their power to “print” as much money as they’d like, they use it quite liberally to achieve this goal of total population control.

Wonder no more at the propaganda studio lots seeking to Poz the world with Californication and Celebridolatry, churning out infotainment programming with social justice themes and narratives that consistently lose money hand over fist.

The producers in charge of a never ending stream of box office bombs, tell-a-vision series cancellations, print media circulation drops and downsized publishing houses haven’t made genuine profits in a decade or more.. They don’t need to nor do they seem to really even want to. Their primary function is not to make profits, but to manufacture consensus, control the narrative and pacify the populace to get we the sheeple to fall in line and to think and behave how they want us to.

I’m not gushing with praise about President Trump’s big speech on February 28, but one of his actions on March 1 does make me gush a little. I chose that verb with cunning: it alludes to his signing of an executive order striking down President Obama’s “Waters of the United States” rule, which gave the EPA the authority to harass people who try to do almost anything about the water on their land, even if the water is nothing but ponds or “vernal pools” (i.e., puddles that show up when it rains). And when I say “harass” I mean harass. The EPA has tried to make malefactors pay tens of thousands of dollars a day in fines.

I usually don’t like to talk about social classes, because the Marxists made such a mess of that, but the rule that Trump wants to get rid of is class legislation of a familiar but very pernicious kind. It’s like all the rules that Democrats have made forbidding you from getting the lightbulb you want or building a house near the suspected hive of some rare insect or drilling for oil in some area that no one ever visits but some environmentalist organization has located on a map and now derives financial support for “caring about.”

Such rules — such under-the-table legislation — are meant to help well-off people who live in cities have good feelings or to help their kids get jobs “advocating for the environment,” at the expense of people who work with their hands on farms or oil rigs, or who simply want to maintain a decent environment for themselves.

This is legislation that takes wealth (whether money or psychic benefits) out of the control of one group and gives it into the control of another group, which is ignored or ridiculed if it protests.

While he talked, the people in the background sat immobile, staring into space, not daring to move a muscle.

Depression is highest in fully employed, first world countries. The two highest countries for depression? France and the United States.

We simply were not made to work 60 hours a week. Archaeologists figure that our paleo ancestors “worked” maybe 12 hours a week.

And then they would play, in order to keep up the skills needed to hunt and forage, etc.

Why is work depressing? Not all of these reasons but maybe some of them.

Being bossed around by people we don’t respect.

Being forced to be friends just because they share our cubicle walls and hear all of our whispered pleadings with romantic partners as we try to be as quiet as possible.
Meetings

Seeing the 80/20 rule in action where 20% of the employees create 80% of the value and the other 80% just barely (desperately, fearfully) survive.

Being mandated by an 800 page guidebook how you can talk to people of the opposite sex or of different skin colors.

Seeing corporate political agendas rule over financial realities and not being able to say anything about it for fear of being fired.

Spending 6am to 7pm getting ready for work, commuting to work, working, commuting back, too tired to move when you return home.

Falling in love, getting rejected, and seeing her every day and then crying in my cubicle.

Or maybe that last one was just me. A lot of crying.

Jobs are not so great. And they cause a lot of suffering. And you don’t really need them. Bear with me.
