Here is an email sent to a friend of my from a girl who “identifies” as “queer” not “bisexual”.

oh! i almost forgot. language is obviously essential in how we understand concepts. “bisexual” reinforces the oppressive gender binary. i also like queer because it’s vague. it basically means not straight. and sometimes i feel mostly straight and sometimes i feel mostly gay. i don’t like all genders equally all the time. my attraction to a cis woman is different from a cis man from a ftm trans from a non-binary person etc etc. also i love the history and community associated with the word queer, it being an insult reclaimed by the queer community. i hope that makes sense!

My new name for the GLBT community is GLBTKKK. I think that sums it up nicely. I love how the GLBTKKK says you can’t label people but sets up all sorts of labels for people. Cis man, cis woman, ftm trans, non-binary, queer. For a group of people against labels they certainly have many labels for people.

Catching Fire was pretty terrible. Statism, weak female lead and a repeat of Hunger Games.

Obamacare cost more than not having Obamacare and paying the penalty. I told you that. You don’t listen.
