I have come to some realizations about my policy on responding to comments on the Tube of You, Twitterverse, Book of Faces and Goofle+.

Here they are:

1. I am not here to give you attention. When you come to my page (account, feed, etc) and leave a comment you are entering my territory. Posting a comment does not make you worthy of my attention.

2. Goofle+ and Book of Faces are read only for me. I don’t respond to anything there unless you are a really cute girl.

3. If you are posting a comment but it’s obvious you haven’t listened to the podcast that means you are expressing your emotional opinion about something you have no knowledge. It means you are trolling and seeking attention to compensate for your mommy issues. I will not respond to you at all.  Your uninformed opinion has no value.

4. Please do comment regardless of how informed or uninformed you are as all comments drive up the SEO of the post you are commenting on.

5. Never expect me to put more effort into a response to your comment than you put into the comment.

6. If you want to have a “discussion” with me you need to either:

a. Ask a rational and intelligent question.

b. Have at least 5 years worth of philosophical thought behind you. This can be a blog, a podcast or books you have written.

I’ve been doing this for 10 years and I’m done with idiots who have no grasp of anything beyond their own desire for the State to give them “free” stuff.

And yes, before recording this I ate half a pizza, drank 3 beers and watched 2 episodes of Game of Thrones.
